After his Internal Medicine residency at UC San Diego, Dr. Parekh completed his General and Interventional Cardiology fellowships at Loyola University in Chicago. He specializes in percutaneous interventions of the coronary arteries as well as non-surgical techniques to repair structural heart diseases. His expertise in vascular disease also allows him to treat peripheral arterial/venous disease including non-healing ulcers and wounds of the lower extremities, abdominal aortic aneurysms, and stenosis of the carotid vessels.
