Shankha Biswas, MD

Dr. Shankha Biswas is a Partner with Synergy CT Surgery. He specializes in both thoracic and cardiac surgery with emphasis in minimally invasive approaches. His particular clinical interests are surgical management of complex coronary artery disease, structural heart disease and aortic disease. His area of expertise also includes VATS (video assisted thoracoscopic surgery) lobectomy in the treatment of lung cancer.

Dr. Biswas attended Medical School at Duke University School of Medicine. He completed his general and thoracic surgery residency at Duke University Medical Center.
